Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Virginia. As a Member Service Representative, you will provide exceptional telephone assistance to arenaflex Medicaid members and providers, addressing a range of inquiries, including eligibility, provider changes, and requests for ID cards. Your goal will be to deliver an outstanding experience to every caller, every time. Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming member and provider calls, responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs
- Provide accurate and timely information to members and providers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Utilize high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (note: Wi-Fi is not permitted)
- Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals, demonstrating a strong commitment to excellence
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member and provider issues, promoting a culture of teamwork and cooperation
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers, both orally and in written form
- Strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results
- Ability to work from home and demonstrate self-sufficiency, with a reliable and secure internet connection
- Must commute to the office in Linthicum, MD when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working remotely in a call center setting
- Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare programs
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service
