**Job Summary:**
We're seeking an experienced Administrative Services Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. As a key member of our administrative team, you'll provide exceptional support to our executive staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely with a dynamic organization, while still having the flexibility to collaborate with our Nashville office team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide administrative support to executive staff, including routine correspondence, travel arrangements, and expense accounts
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
* Coordinate meetings, events, and gatherings, including legislative functions and receptions
* Supervise and evaluate assigned clerical and other staff, making recommendations on personnel actions as needed
* Prepare and assemble information for speeches, staff meetings, and other purposes
* Take minutes at staff meetings and maintain accurate records
* Operate standard office machines and equipment as necessary
* Liaise with various stakeholders, including the governor's office, departmental staff, and community organizations
* Attend legislative functions and meetings as required to gain information
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree
* Qualifying full-time increasingly responsible sub-professional experience or paraprofessional or professional experience may be substituted for the required education, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of four years
* 1 year of customer service experience (required)
* 1 year of data entry experience (preferred)

**Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:**
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $11.00 - $13.92 per hour, depending on experience. As a contract employee, you'll also enjoy the following benefits:
