About the Role

We're seeking a full-time, motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Texas. As a remote worker, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with a starting wage of $15.50 per hour and opportunities to learn and develop your skills. Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with customers via phone, email, or chat to address a range of topics, from shopping for new pets to problem-solving and finding the perfect products.
  • Research and problem-solve to determine appropriate solutions for customers, thinking proactively and setting follow-ups as needed to ensure contact resolution.
  • Operate with understanding, utilizing active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness to customers and team members alike.
  • Collaborate with teammates, managers, and other stakeholders using virtual tools such as Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to a customer-centric culture of collaboration.
  • Adapt to change and business needs, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow.

Essential Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening), with the ability to demonstrate these skills in a written assessment.
  • Ability to multi-task, navigate computer systems, and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computers for data entry, navigation, and internet research.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of pet care and products, with a passion for delivering exceptional service to pet owners.
  • Experience with customer service software and technology, including CRM systems and helpdesk tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.

Technical Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need a dedicated workspace that's free from distractions and background noise. You'll also need:

  • A reliable, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/ 10Mbps+ upload speed).
  • A computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam (which we'll provide).
  • A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication via Okta Verify.
