Structural Engineer - Entry Level

As a Structural Engineer – Entry Level, you will gain hands-on experience in structural analysis, design, and drafting within the solar energy sector, while collaborating with various teams to ensure project execution.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations with guidance to ensure compliance with applicable codes and project requirements
• Assist in pile plan production, analyzing foundation loads and soil interactions
• Support the development of structural drawings and reports using AutoCAD and industry-standard tools
• Pick up and implement redline markups accurately and efficiently
• Ensure consistency between calculation reports and drawing sets
• Participate in QA/QC processes, reviewing work prior to submission and updating documents per reviewer feedback
• Collaborate across civil, electrical, and project management teams to ensure cohesive project execution

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 0-2 years of civil/structural engineering experience
• Understanding of steel design per AISC and structural design principles
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Eagerness to learn PV (photovoltaic) pile design tools and solar-specific design methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management, organization, and teamwork skills
