They are seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to design, build, and secure AI solutions that address complex problems, collaborating with engineers and product managers to deliver scalable systems. Responsibilities • Agentic AI Engineering: Contribute to the design and implementation of agentic AI systems, including multi-agent orchestration, tool-use, retrieval (RAG), planning, and self-evaluation loops • Building Tools & Standards for AI CoE: Develop reusable tools, frameworks, and technical standards that support the AI Center of Excellence’s mission to embed AI responsibly and efficiently across the organization. Help define best practices and contribute to the creation of governance and operational standards for agentic AI • Security & Cyber Responsibilities: Implement security controls for AI systems, including access management, data protection, vulnerability scanning, and incident response protocols. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards • Software Development: Build and maintain microservices, APIs, and high-scale systems using Java, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript • Cloud Engineering: Design and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM) and AWS Bedrock Agents for generative AI and agentic workflows • DevOps & Runtime Excellence: Support CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps workflows. Implement production observability (APM/logging/metrics/tracing), and contribute to reliability and performance improvements • Collaboration: Work closely with Architecture, Product, and Security teams to integrate agentic AI solutions and ensure technology governance and compliance • Continuous Learning & Problem Solving: Demonstrate curiosity by exploring new technologies and approaches. Tackle ambiguous and complex problems with persistence and creativity. Share knowledge and contribute to team learning • Quality & Compliance: Help define and enforce agentic AI standards and guardrails for safety, compliance, and ethical use, including policy enforcement and observability Skills • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript; strong computer science fundamentals • Experience designing and deploying cloud-native solutions using AWS services • Proven experience building microservices/APIs and delivering high-scale systems • Applied DevOps/SRE skills: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, GitOps, and production observability • Demonstrated curiosity (continuous learning, exploring new technologies) and persistence (driving solutions through challenges and ambiguity) • This role supports services provided to the federal government or federal government contractor and therefore requires US Citizenship.
