[Remote] Senior Principal Engineer

The Senior Principal Engineer is responsible for driving the strategic direction, architecture, and execution of complex projects, serving as a subject matter expert and leading cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
• Defines and drives the technical vision, strategy, and architecture for complex systems
• Leads large-scale engineering initiatives from concept to delivery
• Provides deep technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team and project leaders
• Sets and enforces engineering standards, processes and best practices
• Collaborates with cross-functional partners to align technology solutions with business objectives
• Mentors and Coach engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Evaluates new technologies, tools, and methods to improve system performance and efficiency
• Represents the engineering organization in technical discussions with executives, clients and partners
Skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
• 12-20+ years of engineering experience with a strong record of technical innovation and leadership
• Deep expertise in one or more technical domains
• Proven experience in system architecture, design and large-scale implementations
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic recommendations
