[Remote] Senior / Lead Fullstack Engineer (Python, FastAPI, React.js, Next.js & GCP)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. New York Technology Partners is seeking a Senior / Lead Fullstack Engineer to join their consulting team. The role involves taking ownership of end-to-end web applications and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to develop robust technical solutions deployed on Google Cloud Platform. Responsibilities • Develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using Python (FastAPI), React.js / Next.js, and PostgreSQL on Google Cloud Platform • Design and integrate APIs and backend services that power dynamic, data-driven front-end experiences • Build and optimize BigQuery data models and implement cloud-based analytics and reporting solutions • Implement responsive, elegant UI components using Tailwind CSS, with strong attention to performance and usability • Manage application deployments via Vercel and automate CI/CD pipelines within the GCP ecosystem • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency in production • Maintain clean, well-structured, and well-documented code, following modern engineering best practices • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate non-technical needs into effective technical designs • Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared engineering standards and architectural decisions Skills • Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience using FastAPI (or Flask) • Solid experience with React.js / Next.js and Tailwind CSS for modern frontend development • Proven experience deploying and operating systems on Google Cloud Platform, including: Compute services, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Storage • Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design, performance optimization, and data modeling • Practical experience with BigQuery and GCP analytics/reporting tools • Strong background in API design, development, testing, integration, and documentation • Experience with Vercel, CI/CD workflows, and Git • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills • Solid understanding of cloud security best practices • Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken • Experience leading projects or mentoring other engineers • Familiarity with data-heavy or analytics-driven products • Exposure to startups, consulting, or client-facing engineering roles • Experience optimizing cloud costs at scale Company Overview • New York Technology Partners is an information technology company that provides IT and engineering services.
