Futures Derivatives Clearing intermediate Associate Analyst

About the position This position is Hybrid and will require 2-3 days in office at the Citi Tampa location. The Sec & Derivative Intmd Assoc Analyst is an entry level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations-Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions. Responsibilities • Individual mapped to this job description is responsible for derivatives transaction processing execution • Contribute to the creation of customized reporting used to present information to management • Support implementation of securities processing improvements • Assist with identifying policy gaps and formulating policies that streamline related work processes • Review and analyze derivative trade activities, procedures to reconcile cash/holdings and securities pricing. • Develop and use knowledge of securities, processing practices and standards • Provide informal guidance or on the job training to lower level/new securities processing team members when required • Develops client specific service solutions and maintains quality control. • Performs multiple transactions of moderate complexity to achieve operating efficiency and a high level of productivity. • Minimizes risk to the bank through the appropriate application of procedural requirements and adherence to audit and control policies • Continuously looks for and designs business required documents to reduce the number of manual touch points to process payments • Works closely with peers and product to develop solutions that will enable team to meet the mission statements of the department and create dynamic MIS • Participates in system testing • Maintains awareness of product changes and system enhancements • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
