[Remote] Application Developer (Angular)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. General Dynamics Information Technology is a global technology and professional services company that delivers consulting, technology and mission services. They are seeking a Software Developer Associate to develop front-end web application functionality using Angular and JavaScript for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The role involves collaborating with a team to create dynamic user-interface solutions and support the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Work with an interdisciplinary team and will be responsible for coding and unit testing interactive and dynamic user-interface solutions
- Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications
- Assists with all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Assists with analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs
- Assists with creating a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application
- Performs software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging
- Prepares reports on software project specifications, activities, or status
- Assists with the documentation of software or system for future maintenance and updates
Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field
- 1+ years of experience
- Experience or knowledge of Angular
- Javascript
- HTML

- Ability to understand and execute against customer business requirements

- Agile or SAFe experience
- Ability to understand and manage customer expectations and software implementation methodology
- Back-end development experience would be a plus
- Experience supporting CMS and the Center for Program Integrity
