[Remote] Account Manager - Education

They are seeking an Account Manager – Education to partner with K–12 schools, managing device repair needs and building strong relationships with school administrators and IT leaders to ensure smooth technology operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage K–12 device repair orders with accuracy and attention to detail, coordinating closely with internal operations and technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
- Maintain consistent communication with school administrators, IT directors, and procurement teams on repair timelines, device logistics, and service updates to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Track order progress, proactively resolve issues, and deliver exceptional customer service from start to finish
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key education stakeholders to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate with Account Executives on joint K–12 accounts to maximize district-level opportunities and expand our market presence
- Partner with Marketing to develop and execute targeted campaigns for the education segment
- Stay informed on K–12 technology trends, procurement cycles, and funding programs (e.g., E-Rate, ESSER) to identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Deliver engaging virtual presentations and product demonstrations that highlight ComputerCare’s unique service offerings
- Identify and act on upsell and cross-sell opportunities across IT Asset Management (ITAM) and lifecycle services
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline activities, and forecasts in the CRM system
Skills
- 1–3+ years of experience in customer account management, preferably in IT, SaaS, or IT asset management
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- Proven track record in lead generation, relationship nurturing, and closing deals
- Proficient with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot and familiar with sales automation platforms
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Travel up to 15% as needed
- Experience with K–12 or education-focused organizations is a plus
- Knowledge of IT asset management (ITAM), software asset management (SAM), or related IT services is a plus
