Associate Software Engineer
Garner Health is a rapidly growing company focused on reshaping the healthcare economy through innovative technology. The Associate Software Engineer will develop core systems for client onboarding and reporting, working closely with product and design teams to enhance the Garner app's features and quality.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and launch new features and improve the overall quality of the Garner app
- Collaborate across disciplines to understand our users and iterate on new ideas
- Protect our users' privacy and security through secure coding practices
- Support the Garner app in production
Skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or STEM field
- Less than 1-year of full time software engineering work experience
- Proficiency in software engineering fundamentals
- A track record of shipping high-quality features through internships or personal projects
- Excitement to thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously learn, and sharpen your skills
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript is highly desirable
- Experience with Flask, React, or NodeJS is highly desirable
- Experience with a major cloud provider such as AWS
- Experience with one or more database systems such PostgreSQL or ElasticSearch
