Strategy and Operations Coordinator, Product & Engineering
Etsy is the global marketplace for unique and creative goods. The Strategy and Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in keeping the Buyer organization operating smoothly, focusing on coordination, enablement, and organizational health.
Responsibilities
- Design, coordinate, and maintain processes, tools, and operating rhythms across the BuyerX Group, to ensure the team has clarity on what’s happening, what’s expected, and when
- Support BuyerX Group in company-wide processes (e.g., SFP planning, goal-setting, CEO and org-wide reviews) by coordinating participation, managing content and required inputs, and tracking key deadlines for all cross-company deliverables
- Draft, coordinate, and manage internal communications (e.g., newsletters, org updates, all-hands content, presentations) while maintaining clear, transparent communication channels between Buyer leads and their teams
- Keep distribution lists, Slack channels, and other communication pathways accurate and up to date—reflecting new hires, exits, and org adjustments
- Plan and execute team events, offsites, and department-wide gatherings in partnership with Buyer leads and key stakeholders
- Support priority projects as needed by gathering information, organizing materials
- Ensure leaders are prepared for meetings/events with materials, agendas, and logistics
- Partner with other Coordinators, Program Managers, and Executive Assistants across Etsy to ensure alignment
- Represent BuyerX leaders with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in internal and external interactions
- Serve as a trusted coordination partner, anticipating needs and helping the org stay aligned
- Build trust and connections across all layers of the BuyerX group, developing situational awareness of cross-group dependencies
- Proactively flag challenges, opportunities, and other relevant updates to BuyerX leadership
- Track L&D activities, expense reports, budget elements, and other operational enablers that keep the Buyer organization functioning smoothly
- Manage leaders’ calendars, travel, and other scheduling assignments, as needed
Skills
- Proven ability to design, manage, and refine operating rhythms, processes, and cross-team workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating clear internal updates, presentations, and org-wide communications
- Demonstrated skill in coordinating multi-stakeholder projects and keeping teams aligned on timelines, deliverables, and expectations
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust, maintain discretion, and navigate relationships across all levels of an organization
- Experience providing administrative and logistical support to senior leaders, including scheduling, logistics, meeting prep, and event coordination
