Associate Industrial Engineer (Hybrid in San Antonio, TX)

The Associate Industrial Engineer will utilize analytical approaches to develop innovative strategies and continuous improvements while interacting with management and participating in various engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes productivity reporting summaries aimed at controlling and improving labor costs and machine efficiency & utilization. Assist in preparing project proposals & other capital justifications. Participates on special projects as requested by VP of Engineering Director Engineering Manager or other senior company officers. 25%
- Utilizes machine specifications material specifications and budgeted accounts to develop systematic product costs for various products. Utilizes an engineered work measurement standards database for direct & indirect labor processes to calculate labor requirements in production facilities. 20%
- Revise cost systems as necessary due to equipment changes job method improvements new budgeting etc. 20%
- Analyzes and reviews processes to identify opportunities for innovation continuous improvement & cost reductions. . 20%
- Posses and applies knowledge of Engineering field. Participates on Engineering & Company project teams. Applies knowledge of Company engineering & technology principles. 5%
- Designs and upgrades facility layouts as needed. 10%
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of AutoCAD & Production Simulation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma principles
- Up to 2 years of professional experience
- Organizational and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to analyze complex data sets to determine best course of action
- Ability to manage multiple processes and product lines
- Ability to balance the needs of multiple locations to achieve best results for the overall Commercial Forms network
- Production particularly printing experience
