Application Analyst I - Epic Beacon

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is dedicated to ending cancer for life through innovative research and compassionate care. They are seeking an Application Analyst I to tackle complex business challenges by developing technology, workflow, and integration solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop new documentation tools such as flow sheet, smart sets, and notes
• Assist with answering tickets in EPIC work ques
• Analyze complex business problems and design technology, integration, and workflow solutions
• Identify system gaps and provide technical expertise to inform functional specifications
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders
• Actively contribute to technical discussions, offering insights that improve solutions
• Assist with work ques within EPIC

Skills

• Active certification in Epic Ambulatory required
• Proven ability to work independently while contributing within cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of business process analysis and system design
• Ability to work in a high volume environment with limited supervision
• Ability to clarify ambiguous problems and deliver innovative solutions
• Proficiency in configuring and scaling systems to support business goals
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage peers, users, and others
• Epic Beacon certification preferred, certification required to be obtained after starting in role (MSK will sponsor)
