Residential Energy Auditor

CLEAResult is a company dedicated to leading the transition to a sustainable energy-efficient future. They are seeking a Residential Energy Auditor who will conduct energy audits in residential homes, working directly with customers to promote energy conservation.

Responsibilities

• Learn to conduct home energy assessments & evaluations
• Record and report necessary data by electronic or manual methods to adhere to program requirements
• Troubleshoot technical problems that you may encounter during the installation of energy efficiency measures
• Act as a local, customer-facing program & company representative to customers to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers to energy savings

Skills

• 0-1 year of relevant industry experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Well-spoken and a positive attitude
• A people person, comfortable with the idea of in-home consulting
• Able to learn quickly and adapt on the fly
• Possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation & no history of major driving infractions
• Able to work under different weather conditions including extreme hot and cold weather
• Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
• Crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach often working in crawl spaces and under mobile homes for part of the workday
• Use repetitive hand motion & use of basic hand and power tools
• Use of a step stool up to 6' in order to gain access to attic space when necessary
• Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds as needed
• BPI Certification preferred, ability to obtain certification within 3-6 months, training will be provided
