System Design Engineer

Westinghouse Electric Company is committed to providing clean energy solutions and is seeking an engineering contractor for their WECTEC Staffing Services. In this role, you will support the design and implementation of safety-related Instrumentation and Control systems while working in a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Create Functional Logic Diagrams
• Develop Design Specifications
• Use an electronic component's bill of materials to calculate a predicted MTBF using Reliability Workbench software
• Analyze field data to calculate a component's observed MTBF
• Support Project Management on schedule creation
• Compose clear and concise reports of the above tasks for internal and external customers

Skills
