Workday Payroll Managed Services Consultant I
TopBloc is a Workday boutique partner firm that provides deployment services and on-demand support for Workday solutions. They are seeking a Workday Payroll Managed Services Consultant I to provide guidance and support to clients using the Workday Payroll platform, while also participating in internal training and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Act as a named specialist for customers providing guidance, best practices, solutions and instructions using the Workday Payroll platform to meet, enhance and optimize the client’s business needs
- Work directly with clients, solving Workday Payroll issues as they arise
- Act as the liaison between ADP and Workday through SmartCompliance monitoring and issue resolution
- Configure Workday payroll components, reports, etc. of varying complexity levels
- Understands Workday implementation Methodology and performs various pre-production responsibilities as assigned including executing test scripts, converting legacy data into Workday, etc
- Actively participate in internal training updates and opportunities to share one’s skills and learnings with others within the organization
- Assist with internal initiatives, as assigned, designed to improve the team, department or company
- Maintain timeliness of service level agreements and average billability of 80% quarterly
- Accessible during service hours (9am-7pm CST) and flexibility to work beyond the standard service window as needed
- Actively participate in internal training updates and opportunities to share one’s skills and learnings with others within the organization
- Attend Workday Payroll training and become Workday certified
Skills
- Bachelor's degree, preferable in Human Resources, Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, Computer Engineering, or related IT/Business discipline; or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple clients and initiatives simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with clients and co-workers in a positive manner that engenders confidence and trust
- Good problem solver with ability to consider alternative and diverse perspectives
- 1+ years experience running or processing payroll
- 1+ years client interfacing or consulting experience
- Experience with manipulating data in Microsoft Excel using functions and/or macros
