Post-Bar Law Clerk/Associate
Modern Family Law is a rapidly expanding national law firm specializing in Family Law, seeking Post-Bar Law Clerks/Associates. The role involves training and mentorship in preparation for transitioning to an Associate Attorney after passing the Bar exam.
Responsibilities
- Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
- Participate in initial client consultations
- Work as a part of a team in a respectful and growth-oriented environment
- Learn how to manage your cases from start to finish and represent your clients as the first chair on cases upon licensure
Skills
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school completed by June 2026
- Register for the February 2026 OR July 2026 Bar exam
- Attain a passing score on the MPRE prior to sitting for the Bar exam
- Submission and approval of Character & Fitness application by the State Bar
- Submission of cover letter, law school transcript and responses to candidate questionnaire
- Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus
- Mock Trial experience is a plus
