[Remote] Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget while maintaining high customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains visibility to known project work leveraging documented tools, processes and procedures in appropriate Standard Operating Procedures, Playbooks, and Runbooks
  • Develops and maintains productive working relationships with business leaders, project sponsors, business analysts, solution architects, vendors, and key clients
  • Develops project plans, timelines, and resource assignments, and manages project budgets
  • Coordinates project activities, meetings, and resources to ensure smooth execution
  • Manages the relationship with the customer, acting as the primary 'face' of the project throughout the lifecycle
  • Provides work direction and leadership to assigned projects, including scheduling, assignment of work, and review of project efforts
  • Ensures successful go-live on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction
  • Maintains consistent communication with the project team to ensure the scope of work is clear and that standard operating procedures are adhered to and auditable
  • Ensures compliance with all accounting, human resources, training, and safety goals, as outlined by the Statement of Work and other C5MI policies
  • Prepares and maintains project documentation, including reports, schedules, and presentations
  • Provides customer guidance and support on Communications, Change Management, Training Strategy, and Testing Strategy
  • Facilitates the gathering of information required to estimate project cost, resources, time, and deliverables
  • Sets and maintains quality standards for project deliverables, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards
  • Leverages financial acumen to estimate costs associated with the project, including physical, financial, and human capital costs
  • Negotiates conflicts and resolves issues that arise on the project, acting as a mediator between stakeholders and team members throughout the project lifecycle
  • Acts as a trusted advisor for the client
  • Tracks and monitors progress, identifying potential issues or delays and proactively finding solutions
  • Keeps senior leaders and stakeholders informed on the progress of the project, as well as any risks or deviations from the plan
  • Ensure a smooth project closure process, including client acceptance, documentation, and knowledge transfer
  • Adheres to all certified processes as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and information security, which includes actively participating in quality assurance activities and ensuring the protection of sensitive information in accordance with our security policies
  • Travels to client sites as needed to assist with implementation and go-live activities
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% throughout the year, varying based on client needs
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned

Skills

  • U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or high school diploma and equivalent years of experience
  • Must have an active government clearance or be able to obtain one prior to starting (which requires U.S. Citizenship)
  • Must be a self-starter and problem solver, capable of functioning in a dynamic, fast-paced, change-oriented environment
  • Adaptability and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer/escalation management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to connect and work with employees at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Awareness of legal and regulatory requirements relevant to projects
  • Exposure to SAP Technology implementation and/or operation experience
  • Experience with at least one full cycle implementation is a plus
  • Understanding of SAP Activate methodology is a plus
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana)
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or other frameworks
  • Government contracting experience is a plus
