Business Consultant
Care.com is a consumer tech company focused on finding great care for families. The Business Consultant role involves managing client contact, providing consultations on tax and labor law questions, and ensuring operational efficiency through exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Manage all client contact, including inbound calls, emails, and account changes, while providing accurate consultations on tax and labor law questions
- Review and implement account changes promptly
- Perform follow-ups and non-phone account management tasks as needed
- Support other teams with business needs, goals, and project completion
- Report client feedback, including suggestions, complaints, quotes, account closures, and service upsells
Skills
- 1-3+ years of related client service experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team-player, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong change agility and ability to shift quickly as needed
- A driven nature and willingness to tackle complex projects and goals
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable meeting and exceeding daily and weekly critical metric benchmarks
- Open to feedback, ongoing learning, and comfortable asking questions
- Reliable and consistently punctual
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (Business/Economics/Government preferred)
