Job Overview

We're seeking a talented and experienced Remote Customer Service Representative to join our elite team. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll play a vital role in delivering an amazing customer experience, helping to unveil the mystery of finding and enrolling in health insurance. We build and operate award-winning cloud-based enrollment tools that serve state-based exchanges, brokers, insurers, and consumers. In addition to eligibility determination, plan selection, and enrollment technology for state agencies, we deliver innovative agent marketing and call center tools and services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls, delivering the highest level of customer service experience consistently
  • Managing customer accounts and providing technical support to resolve issues and answer questions
  • Application data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Responding to online chat inquiries as assigned, providing timely and effective support
  • Interpreting and following defined procedures and policies, adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels
  • Demonstrating creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability to changing projects and updates
  • Effectively managing time and tasks, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Completing extensive self-study, training, and testing, with eligibility to proceed through training and certifications dependent upon passing required exams

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements and qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Have a minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s, with a dedicated, private, and secure workspace
  • Have a personal laptop or desktop computer required for the training period
  • Commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period
  • Complete a background check and health screening
  • Have cable/fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite are not compatible)
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, with a high level of comfort learning new technology
  • High level of professionalism, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working from home, with a self-motivated and success-driven approach

Preferred Experience

While not required, the following experience is preferred:

  • Previous experience in customer support or technical support role
  • Previous experience with group and/or individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act
  • Previous experience in a call center environment
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Spanish bilingual, a plus

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $14.50, plus performance incentives, with a rate of $15.50 for Spanish bilingual candidates.
