Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Zuri Group is a consulting firm that provides functional support and best practice guidance for Salesforce CRM implementations, particularly for nonprofit and higher education clients. The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Functional Consultant will lead client projects, offering expertise in system configuration, customization, and user training while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of fundraising software systems. Responsibilities • Guide discovery for project deliverables including software configuration, custom development, and integration • Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for Salesforce Marketing Cloud configuration, customization, and development • Train the digital production team on Salesforce Marketing Cloud best practices • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and requirements • Lead technical requirements gathering sessions to analyze client needs and business processes, define and document project scope, and confirm solution viability • Make decisions based on client requirements and configuring ISV solutions • Proactively provide knowledge-backed recommendations and best practice advice on meeting goals through software system configuration, customization, process improvement, and/or staff training, including appropriate considerations of budget, timeframe, and client capacity • Educate and train clients on system functionality, particularly for go-live stabilization, offering guidance for users to become proficient in use of new tools • Design, validate, and implement critical system components in CRM platforms.​ • Articulate complex system challenges and solutions in an easy to digest manner.​ • Assist in defining the work required to deliver solutions in support of client needs, including level of effort. Provide oversight of project resources, jointly with project management • Adapt to changing circumstances and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Work in customized Salesforce environments which include custom objects and workflows Skills • 2+ years in higher education advancement or development • 2-4 years experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with at least 2 years with a strong understanding of its platform and capabilities • Participation and involvement in any CRM system adoption or migration projects, specifically in regards to Email and/or SMS production • Ability to collaborate and establish strong working relationships with various teams and lead conversations about technical concepts with audiences of varying levels of experience, including non-technical stakeholders • Working knowledge of philanthropy practices and advancement services • Enthusiasm for learning and an openness to feedback • Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly • Strong oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to document and organize tasks and decisions • Effective in building consensus and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including executives and senior level staff • Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to new situations • Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining an environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging • Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator, or similar is highly preferred • Data import and experience migrating data into Salesforce using data loader and/or ETL tools • Advanced Lightning Report skills • Familiarity installing and managing integrated Apps (Outlook/Google, maps, online payment, email, document creation, document management, etc.) • Familiarity with Kindsight Ascend and/or Affinaquest • Experience with CRM Analytics, Conga, Apsona • Visio or similar workflow diagramming • Business Intelligence tools including Tableau CRM • Familiarity and expertise with NPSP, Experience Cloud, UCI's Ascend, or Affinaquest is strongly preferred • Experience configuring ISV solutions • Experience as a consultant or with large database or CRM implementations • Experience leading user training and testing • Experience with Pardot • Experience with DataCloud Benefits • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, some plans covered 100% by Zuri Group. • Health Savings Account (HSA) contribution by Zuri Group on eligible plans. • Basic Life Insurance provided by Zuri Group. • Group plans for voluntary coverage including Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life, Accident, Critical Illness, and Supplemental Vision. • 401(k) Plan with 3% employer contribution. • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for health and dependent care expenses. • Company cell-phone plans and work-from-home equipment. • Wellness program and an emphasis on work-life balance. • Continuing education time and reimbursement.
