Family Practice Physician - with Telehealth Hours

Family Practice Physician National City, California Job Type – Full Time, Part Time, Telehealth Schedule – Days Pay – $260,000 + Patients Per Day – 20 EMR System - NextGen Setting – Outpatient Job ID – 60561 Job Description A National City based client is seeking an experienced, collaborative family practice physician to join its primary care team both in person with some telehealth hours. An ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English (not required), works well amongst an interdisciplinary team, and can be a new graduate. This role involves providing primary care services to a community in an outpatient setting. Required Qualifications • Attended an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree • Completed an accredited residency program • DEA certificate • Board certification or eligible in internal medicine or family medicine • BLS certification Responsibilities • Assess patient health by performing physical examinations and taking patient history • Supervises assigned NP and PA staff on clinical responsibilities • Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results • Perform therapeutic procedures, manage wounds and injuries, and educate patients on their treatment plans • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload • Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy • Assist with utilization review, quality assurance, and risk management programs About Provider Healthcare Provider Healthcare is a prominent healthcare recruitment firm that places highly qualified and skilled healthcare professionals in excellent employment opportunities across the country.
