[Remote] Course Developer & Adjunct Professor- Applied Computer Vision for AI
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kaplan has partnered with Wake Forest University to develop a new kind of leader through its fully online degree programs. They are seeking a highly qualified candidate to develop and teach the Applied Computer Vision for AI course in the online Master of AI program, focusing on computer vision theory and practice.
Responsibilities
• Develop and teach the Applied Computer Vision for AI course in the online Master of AI program
• Explore a combination of traditional AI, machine learning, image processing, and mathematical theories to provide ways of programming a computer to understand visual imagery
• Expose students to the techniques required to efficiently analyze images for representation in applicable context scenarios
• Facilitate virtual meetings with students every week over an academic term to reinforce coursework, apply academic concepts, and participate in focused discussions
Skills
• Master's degree in program field or related degree
• 3+ years of experience in university-level teaching
• 5+ years industry experience
• Terminal degree preferred
• Demonstrated ability to deliver graduate-level, online course experiences valued by the industry
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive excellence
• Ability to integrate ethical concepts and broad understandings of diversity
