Optometrist | Remote and On-Site – Colbert GA

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist looking to make a significant impact in a new multi-specialty, community-focused healthcare setting. Join this healthcare facility in launching a brand-new optometry practice within a reputable, multi-specialty, non-profit health center dedicated to serving rural populations. If you`re looking to lead and grow this exciting new initiative, then this position is for you. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose eye conditions, including refractive errors and diseases. Prescribe corrective lenses and vision therapies, as well as medications as needed. Provide patient education on eye care and refer patients to ophthalmologists or other specialists when necessary. Deliver pre-and post-operative care and evaluate patients for additional medical conditions uncovered during exams, such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Act as the sole Optometrist on-site, with the opportunity to build and grow the practice through networking with local practitioners and community resources. Benefits: Competitive guaranteed salary range of $150,000 to $175,000, commensurate with experience and skills (including languages).
