Contract Duration: 5 Months
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Description (Summary):
Works under the supervision of the client coordinator as part of the Medical Record Review team to complete accurate medical record reviews for the HEDIS project in accordance with NCQA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Request, schedule, and review medical records from provider offices and healthcare facilities
• Abstract and enter medical record data into designated systems with an error rate under 5%
• Prepare provider request letters and fax documentation
• Update chase status and support client operations using multiple software tools
• Ensure full compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
• Participate in inter-rater reliability (IRR) reviews and team meetings
Requirements:
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Data entry/typing experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes
• Customer service skills; auditing experience preferred
