[Remote] Full-Time Remote Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Online – Career Growth Role)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Balanced Bookkeeping & Advisory Services is a growing bookkeeping firm serving small businesses and nonprofits. They are seeking a reliable, motivated bookkeeper to manage multiple clients, handle month-end close, and communicate directly with clients.
Responsibilities
• Manage bookkeeping for multiple clients
• Code transactions and reconcile accounts in QuickBooks Online
• Perform month-end close and prepare financial statements
• Identify and resolve discrepancies
• Communicate clearly with clients and the internal team
• Meet deadlines consistently
Skills
• Must live locally to the Dayton, Ohio area
• 1–5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (current interface a plus)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles & GAAP
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
• Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
• Clear communicator (written and verbal)
• Attention to detail
• Nonprofit experience a plus (not required)
• Positive, fun personality—we like to keep work enjoyable
