Role Description We are seeking a skilled JavaScript REST API Web Developer / Programmer to join our team. This is a full-time remote role. As a Web Developer / Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining DataSelf ETL+ web services using REST APIs and JavaScript. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement API and JavaScript solutions, perform testing and debugging, and ensure the security and performance of our web applications. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to developing cutting-edge business intelligence solutions. Qualifications • Our ETL+ product development team is in Brazil. Located in Florianopolis, Recife, or vicinities is a plus. • Fluent Portuguese is a must, and English fluency is a plus. • Your available working capacity must align with BRT business hours. • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model • Experience with RESTful API design and development • Experience with Node.js and Express.js • Proficiency with front-end development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and VueJS 3 • Knowledge of database systems and SQL • Preferably experience with development tools such as Git, Snyk, and AI/ChatGPT • Understanding of web security best practices • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not represent a comprehensive list of all responsibilities and requirements.
