Purpose of the
Role:
We are looking for an experienced UX Copywriter for a six (6) month contract, to craft and guide UX copy and messaging for a multitude of user personas across our growing suite of Obama Foundation digital products.
Core
Responsibilities:
Write clear and concise content across multiple in-product touch points, including: headlines, subheads, navigational elements, CTAs, tooltips, errors, labels, and notifications for a redesigned Obama.org and one additional new product
Work collaboratively with product designers and managers to ensure application on site is user-centric, meets UX demands, and is both accessible and inclusive in tone
Sync with in-house Creative + Communications team to ensure tone and usage align with our brand
Work with our User Research to test copy with users
Develop, employ, and deliver a set of style guidelines for future copy, including: tone, length, and usage
Required
Qualifications:
Proven record of UX writing experience on digital products
Creative and engaging writing and editing skills
Collaborative mindset when working with cross-functional partners
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Experience writing for social impact products or audiences
