Highlights: • Chambers ranked and featured in Best Law Firms by U.S. News & World Report, they’re a leading boutique with a deep bench of experienced trial lawyers and a long track record of success in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. • Sustainable Hours & Balance: 1600 billable target, allowing a true work life balance, you bill the hours you actually work, no questioning what can be billed for, and a team of partners on your side, advocating for your success. • This is a growth hire. The firm continues to expand but are not aiming to become a giant, they purposely stay boutique to ensure quality work for their clients and a tight knit team environment. ️ The Role: • Analyze insurance policies and advise on complex coverage issues • Draft detailed coverage opinions • Defend carriers in bad faith and declaratory relief actions • Manage caseload with partner support • Handle depositions, discovery, strategy, and motions ⚖️ About you: 3+ years of experience in Insurance Defense Litigation / 1+ years experience in Insurance Coverage Defense. Location: 100% remote anywhere in LA, or Hybrid in San Fran Package: • Base salary up to $190k DOE + one of the best bonus structures I have ever seen $145/hour on all net billables above 1,600 hours totalling a potential $50k OTE. • Extra discretionary bonus potential of up to 5-figure annual bonuses. • Health, dental, vision & 401(k) retirement plan.
