About the Job

As a Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the adoption of arenaflex's cloud products and services, helping prospective and existing customers and partners understand the benefits of arenaflex's solutions. You will work closely with customers to develop creative cloud solutions and architectures that address their business challenges, engage in proofs of concepts, and troubleshoot technical questions and roadblocks. Your expertise and presentation skills will be essential in engaging with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, and in presenting solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
  • Manage the technical relationship with arenaflex's customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
  • Collaborate with customers to demonstrate and prototype arenaflex's cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments.
  • Guide customers through assessments of existing legacy application environments, providing recommendations on a roadmap for application modernization.
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution on arenaflex's cloud platform.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud-native architectures in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the essential qualifications, the following skills and experience are preferred:

  • Experience with cloud or on-premises infrastructure engineering.
  • Experience with virtualization and/or containerization platforms.
  • Experience in migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.
  • Experience with security controls (e.g., encryption, identity management and access control, attack vectors, and penetration testing).

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$214,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. arenaflex offers a range of perks and benefits, including:
