Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced full stack data analyst to join our team at arenaflex. As a senior examination designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams of data experts, BI engineers, system administrators, and data consumers to deliver performance insights across arenaflex Health. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the delivery of arenaflex Health data and insights drives and projects, supporting long-term and ad-hoc data ETL and data warehousing activities to meet arenaflex Health reporting and analysis expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Directs the delivery of arenaflex Health data and insights drives and projects
• Supports long-term and ad-hoc data ETL and data warehousing activities to meet arenaflex Health reporting and analysis expectations
• Designs, develops, and deploys layered databases and data pipelines to support reporting and analysis projects
• Creates data organizing and pre-processing rules for populating legitimate and physical data models attached to report-specific working tables for both project business intelligence and pre-defined reporting arrangements
• Applies data extraction, transformation, and loading best practices to integrate large datasets from various internal arenaflex production system sources and third-party files
• Performs data profiling and data analysis across internal production systems, manually maintained data, and standard healthcare datasets (e.g., member eligibility, clinical claims, pharmacy claims, HEDIS ECDS files)
• Develops internal tools for automation of all progress-related activities (data processing, QA, data validation, etc.)

Essential Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience writing and tuning SQL-based ETL/ELT scripts
• Experience designing and delivering intelligently isolated data environments using ETL/ELT services that include but are not limited to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Snowflake
• Experience providing thought leadership and presenting tool-agnostic semantic data layer enhancements related to BI technology platforms like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical teams, internal stakeholders, clients, and vendor partners
• At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace
• At least 2 years of direct management, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership
• Able to travel up to/no less than 5% of the time for business purposes (inside state and out of state)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
• Knowledge of pharmacy, healthcare, and clinical research concepts
