Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a remote data entry professional. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of patient information. Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data into our systems with high accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Verify and validate data to ensure accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and company protocols.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless data exchange and resolve any issues that may impact data quality or integrity.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, policies, and procedures, applying this knowledge to improve data entry processes and ensure compliance.

Patient Experience

  • Engage with patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving patient issues promptly and responding to inquiries to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Model and promote customer service best practices with all colleagues, demonstrating relational skills that show empathy (e.g., welcoming, eye-to-eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and arenaflex service values (e.g., showing interest to identify needs and proactively assisting, serving until satisfied, advocating compassion and inclusivity, etc.).
  • Interact with patients by anticipating needs and proactively offering services, supporting efforts to enhance patient experience by increasing awareness of healthcare services presented through arenaflex.
  • Participate and assist in events that reflect the unique communities we serve, as directed by the Supervisor, Healthcare Manager, District Manager, or Pharmacy Manager.

Tasks

  • Counsel patients and answer their questions regarding the use of medication, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient data security, generics, more affordable medications, over-the-counter products, and refer to clinical providers as needed to ensure medication is taken correctly, health needs are addressed, and satisfaction with service.
  • Perform pharmacist tasks, including compounding, medication therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
  • Review, interpret, and accurately administer prescribed medications when required by responsibility.
  • Ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, company policies, and standards, assisting the pharmacy manager with establishing procedures that promote the efficient workflow of the pharmacy.
  • Maintain current knowledge of information technology related to pharmacy systems, including workflow, prescription fulfillment, billing, clinical documentation, training, inventory management, and retail location registers to offer support to patients and pharmacy staff.

People and Performance Management

  • Assist the Pharmacy Manager with staff hiring and training, establishing the course of Pharmacy Manager in staff performance by coaching, and providing constructive feedback, monitoring customer service, and encouraging colleague development.
  • Promote teamwork and motivate colleagues by setting expectations, monitoring and recognizing progress, and encouraging a shared vision.

Training and Self-Awareness

  • Maintain current knowledge and required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by government and state regulations to offer such clinical services.
  • Acquire critical certifications, education credits, and training, including learning modules, as required by the Organization.
  • Seek professional development by observing one's performance, requesting valuable feedback, and utilizing pharmacy manager and healthcare manager as mentor and coach.

Essential Qualifications

  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the region.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate strong knowledge of relevant state and federal controlled substance regulations.
  • Certified Immunizer or able to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Proficiency in pharmacy software and technology systems is also required, as well as a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and company policies.
