Tax Preparer (Seasonal Remote)

Overview Terra Van Zant CPA is looking to change how people see accountants. Working entirely remote, gives us the ability to get the best talent from all areas of the country; and be able to provide a top-notch product, all while keeping costs down for the consumer. We are looking for experienced Tax Preparers to join us. Your familiarity with tax preparation, and tax preparation software will make you an ideal candidate. We are looking for folks who have great attention to detail, superior analytical skills, and a strong sense of urgency. This combination will help us provide our end goal; a great customer experience that is timely as well! This position can work for both new and experienced tax preparers. We will provide the tax software, and help getting you up to speed. Responsibilities • Preparing and reviewing tax returns while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. • Provide an excellent customer experience. • Must have a laptop/desktop computer. • Personal integrity is a must. Skills • Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and public accounting principles. • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. • Proficiency in accounting software, including Lacerte Adobe and QuickBooks a plus. • Solid mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
