Senior Magento Web Developer – Remote

We are a growing our international ecommerce and looking for a highly experienced Magento Web Developer to lead and manage our e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of development experience, with deep expertise in Magento (2), SEO best practices, and performance optimization. Responsibilities: • Develop, maintain, and improve our Magento-based e-commerce websites • Customize and extend Magento themes and modules • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping solutions • Manage site performance, caching, and security enhancements • Implement SEO strategies to improve ranking and visibility • Handle bug fixes, upgrades, and ongoing support • Collaborate with design and marketing teams on UI/UX improvements • Ensure mobile optimization, accessibility, and responsiveness Required Qualifications: • 10+ years of professional web development experience • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Magento (both Magento 1 and 2) • Strong PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery • Deep understanding of SEO fundamentals and implementation • Experience with Magento Marketplace extensions and customization • Familiarity with Git, version control, and staging environments • Experience with API integrations (ERP, CRMs, etc.) • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines • Fluent in English (written and verbal) Preferred: • Magento certification • Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks • Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) Compensation & Terms: • $20/hour • Flexible hours (full-time preferred) • Option to work as a 1099 contractor or full-time remote team member • Long-term growth potential for the right candidate • International team, strong culture, and exciting projects in e-commerce and digital marketing To Apply: Please submit your resume, portfolio, and a brief note explaining your experience with Magento and SEO.
