Modern, Standardized Orthotics & Prosthetics Clinic Design (Using IKEA-Type Furniture)
I am looking for an good interior designer to create a modern, retail-style, standardized design for multiple orthotics and prosthetics clinics. The spaces must look contemporary, clean, and high-end—nothing like a traditional orthopedic store.
All furniture must be IKEA or IKEA-type modular systems for easy replication across locations.
Brand colors include light purple/lilac, combined with complementary tones the designer recommends. The overall palette must integrate visually with the scrub/filipina colors for clinic staff, which the designer may propose.
Required Areas in the Design
1. Reception Area
Minimalist reception desk
Modular seating
Clean, open visual impression
Space for screens/digital promotions
2. Orthotics / Bracing Display Wall (Updated for Visual Impact)
This area should look premium, clean, and modern.
Orthotics/braces displayed either:
✔️ Mounted on partial body pieces (e.g., legs, arms, torsos), or
✔️ Integrated directly on the wall with anatomical silhouette plates
Lighting that highlights each item
Clean lines and modular IKEA-type shelving
Retail-style presentation, visually impactful and easy to understand
3. Foot Orthotics (Insoles) High-Tech Assessment Area
This is a priority area and must feel innovative.
EVA/rubber flooring for assessments
Dedicated space for the 3D foot scanner
Wall-mounted or standing screen to display scanning results
Modular workstation for staff member assisting the patient
Seating for patient and family
Clean, visually integrated design with semi-privacy
mirrors or camera setup for stance evaluation for full body
4. Display for Shoes / Orthopedic Footwear (Updated)
Shoes displayed “floating” using minimalist wall support rods (palitos)
Clean gallery-like look
Integrated soft lighting
5. Consultation / Exam Room
Private room
Ergonomic chairs, desk
Modular storage

Parallel bars

Clean and minimal to match the overall aesthetic
