Paralegal for Human Rights Tribunal Case (Remote – 1-Hour Hearing)
I am seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and self-motivated freelance Paralegal with a strong interest in human rights, civil rights, and administrative law to assist with a matter before the Quebec Human Rights Tribunal.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about advocacy, justice, and supporting human-rights-focused cases.
Project Description
Your primary task will be to attend one (1) hour of a Quebec Human Rights Tribunal hearing via video conference.
The purpose is mainly to observe, take notes if needed, and serve as an informal advocate/assistant during the session.
This is a one-time project, but exceptional performance may lead to future collaboration.
Requirements
✔ Strong interest or background in Human Rights, Civil Rights, or Criminal Law
✔ Ability to understand and follow proceedings in a Quebec legal context
✔ Reliable internet connection for video attendance
✔ Professionalism, confidentiality, and strong communication skills
✔ Fluency in English or French (French preferred, but not mandatory)
