Senior Life Science - Biotechnology Grant Writer

Description: • Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SBIR / Scientific Grant Writer with a strong background in Life Sciences and Biotechnology • Proven track record of securing grant funding through well-crafted grant proposals • Key areas of biomedicine include cardiology (arrhythmias, heart failure), neurology (neurodegenerative diseases, neurodevelopmental diseases, pain), oncology or microbiology • Grant Proposal Development: Research, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals to secure funding of SBIR and other R&D grant applications • Technical Writing: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for grant applications • Collaboration: Work closely with clients and project managers to gather necessary technical information and ensure accuracy in grant proposals • Write Proposal Packages: Write the project narrative, budget justification, biosketches and other peripherals required for the submission based on the requirements of the solicitation Requirements: • PhD degree or equivalent • Ideally 4+ years of experience in scientific grant writing • Strong understanding of R&D grants requirements and scientific research in your dedicated field • Exceptional technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively • Proficient in conducting funding research and identifying suitable grant opportunities • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines • Experience with grant management software and tools (preferred) • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in the field of your expertise (preferred) • Previous success in securing large-scale grants for technology-driven projects (preferred) Benefits: Apply Job!
