In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting iRhythm's indirect tax compliance (Sales, Use, Property, Excise Tax, VAT/GST) and income tax functions. This role ensures accurate tax reporting, supports audits, and contributes to strategic tax planning across domestic and international jurisdictions. What You Will Be Doing Sales & Use Tax / VAT • Prepare and file accurate and timely U.S. sales/use tax returns • Work with external consultants on the timely and accurate filing of VAT returns across applicable jurisdictions • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state, local, and international indirect tax regulations • Reconcile tax accounts to the general ledger and prepare necessary journal entries • Review invoices, contracts, and purchase orders to determine the proper taxability of transactions • Support tax audits by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries • Monitor legislative changes and advise stakeholders on compliance impacts • Assist with tax registrations in new jurisdictions as the company expands • Maintain the indirect tax compliance calendar Corporate Income Tax • Support the preparation of corporate income tax returns in coordination with external advisors • Assist with quarterly and year-end tax provision calculations and reconciliations • Track and analyze temporary and permanent differences for tax reporting • Prepare and perform quarterly tax payable roll forward, ensuring accuracy and completeness of tax account reconciliations. • Perform transfer pricing calculations and maintain documentation to support intercompany transactions and ensure transfer pricing compliance. • Contribute to tax planning initiatives and process improvements • Support tax audits by gathering information and performing specified analyses • Maintain the income tax compliance calendar What We Need To See • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred) • 5+ years of experience in taxation, including indirect tax compliance (sales/use tax, VAT, GST, or similar regional equivalents) and income tax • Strong understanding of ERP systems and tax software (e.g., Vertex, Avalara, SAP, QAD) • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple deadlines Location: Remote - US Actual compensation may vary depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
