As Lead Front End Developer, you will spearhead the evolution of BiOptimizers' custom website and Funnel Builder platform, focusing on creating exceptional user experiences that drive conversion optimization. This role combines technical leadership with deep customer experience understanding to implement AI-generated marketing solutions and cohort-specific landing pages. You will lead front-end architecture decisions, mentor development talent, and ensure our digital properties deliver measurable business results through superior user experience design and implementation. Key Responsibilities • Front-End Architecture Leadership: Lead the technical architecture and development of our custom website and Funnel Builder platform, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high-performing code • Platform Migration Leadership: Lead potential migration from custom platform to Shopify, integrating analytics and LTV insights apps to enhance business intelligence capabilities • AI Marketing Integration: Implement front-end components for AI-generated marketing solutions, creating dynamic and personalized experiences for distinct customer cohorts • Conversion Rate Optimization: Design and develop high-converting landing pages and user interfaces, conducting A/B tests and implementing data-driven improvements to maximize conversion rates • Customer Experience Focus: Analyze customer journey data and user behavior to inform front-end development decisions that enhance user experience and reduce friction points • Cohort-Specific Development: Build dynamic, personalized experiences that adapt to different customer segments and marketing campaigns • Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal website performance, page load speeds, mobile responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility • Code Quality & Standards: Establish and maintain front-end coding standards, conduct code reviews, and implement best practices for version control and deployment • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers, establish development workflows, and foster a culture of technical excellence • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with design, marketing, and data teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Technology Innovation: Research and implement cutting-edge front-end technologies and frameworks to maintain competitive advantage • Analytics Integration: Implement tracking and analytics solutions to measure user engagement, conversion metrics, and site performance • Accessibility & SEO: Ensure all front-end development meets accessibility standards and SEO best practices • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive technical documentation and share knowledge across the development team Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in front-end development with 2+ years in leadership or senior developer roles • Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular) • Strong experience with responsive design, mobile-first development, and cross-browser compatibility • Proven track record of building high-converting landing pages and optimizing conversion rates • Experience with version control systems (Git), build tools, and deployment pipelines • Strong understanding of web performance optimization, SEO principles, and accessibility standards • Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor development teams • Experience with analytics implementation and data-driven development decisions Preferred Qualifications • Experience with e-commerce platforms and custom funnel development • Shopify development experience and familiarity with Shopify app ecosystem for analytics and LTV insights • Familiarity with AI/ML integration in web applications • Knowledge of A/B testing frameworks and conversion optimization tools • Experience with health and wellness, supplements, or direct-to-consumer brands • Background in headless CMS solutions and API integrations • Understanding of marketing automation and personalization technologies • Experience with modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Styled Components) and preprocessing tools Soft Skills • Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and user experience focus • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Leadership mindset with passion for mentoring and developing team members • Adaptability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities • Customer-centric thinking with focus on conversion optimization and business results Work Location This is a fully remote position. BiOptimizers has a globally distributed team and supports flexible work arrangements across time zones. Company Hours & Collaboration With team members across many countries and time zone differences of up to 16 hours, we’ve established a standard collaboration window from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST. This is not a required work schedule, but a shared time frame for meetings and team syncs.
