HubSpot Technical Implementer / Developer — Direct Build Only, No Agency
Description:
We’re seeking a hands-on HubSpot expert who will work directly with our team (not via a project manager or agency). Our recent implementation with a partner left key elements incomplete and misaligned with our vision. We need someone who can clean up what exists, redesign our sales pipeline into a single unified system, and deliver in an iterative, collaborative way.
What you’ll do:
-Audit our current HubSpot setup (pipeline(s), custom objects, workflows, properties) and identify cleanup tasks.
-Redesign our sales pipeline: combine “Lead” and “Opportunity/Deal” pipelines into one cohesive pipeline with well-defined stages aligned to our revenue director’s needs.
-Reconfigure custom objects, properties, record layouts, and deal flows, as needed to support the unified pipeline.
-Adjust or rebuild workflows, automation, and reporting/dashboards tied to the old pipeline structure so everything functions correctly in the new model.
-Work in real time with our team: share your screen, build live Agile-style, solicit immediate feedback, and iterate based on our input so the proper work is completed before moving too far with given direction.
What we expect:
-You are the builder. We don’t want an agency or you sending tasks to someone else.
-Deep experience with HubSpot CRM: pipelines, custom objects, automation, data model design, and reporting/dashboards.
-Strong English communication: you’ll discuss architecture, walk through builds live, answer our questions clearly.
-Comfortable working collaboratively: ideally you’ll hop on virtual or in-person (if local) sessions when needed, to build live agile-style, solicit immediate feedback, and iterate based on our input so the proper work is completed before moving too far with given direction.

Flexible engagement: we’re starting with this major pipeline cleanup and revamp but expect a multi-month window. Hours will vary; you need to be available as priority tasks come up.
Nice to haves:
-Experience cleaning up “messy” HubSpot implementations from prior partners.
-Experience working remotely or in-person with clients in US time zones.
-Experience redesigning pipelines and workflows specifically for B2B sales teams.
-Strong portfolio / examples of past work where you merged/simplified pipelines or rebuilt data models.
