[Remote] Governance Manager

International Data Corporation (IDC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Governance Manager to support our Research & Data organization by developing, implementing and monitoring an organization's governance framework. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant business rules, facilitating governance bodies, and managing stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities • Developing and maintaining governance policies, standards and procedures • Implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of the governance framework • Providing guidance and training on governance matters to staff and leaders • Ensuring compliance with relevant Research and Data business rules, design and delivery standards • Identifying and assessing governance-related risks • Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies • Providing support to the various committees • Assisting in the preparation of committee meetings and deliverables • Facilitation governance committee meetings • Driving and monitoring the implementation of committee decisions • Engaging with stakeholders on governance matters • Promoting transparency and accountability • Managing relationships with governance bodies and stakeholders Skills • 3-5 years of relevant technical experience • A relevant professional qualification (e.g., ICSA, or a qualification in risk management or compliance) • Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles and best practices • Experience in developing and implementing governance frameworks • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Relevant technology market intelligence and data industry experience preferred Company Overview • IDC provides market intelligence solutions, advisory services, and events for the information technology and other related markets.
