Overview: We are seeking a strategic and hands-on, values-driven Vice President of People Operations to lead our People Operations function and drive a high-performance, meritocratic culture across our organization. As a wholly owned subsidiary of a leading healthcare enterprise, we operate with agility and a commitment to quality, operational excellence, and integrity. Reporting to the Chief Administration Officer, the VP of People Operations will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing people strategies that support our mission, values, and business goals. Responsibilities: • Strategic & Tactical Leadership: • Design and implement an integrated People Operations strategy that advances the company’s mission and business objectives. • Balance long-term strategic vision with operational excellence in day-to-day HR execution. • Partner with the executive team to translate business priorities into actionable people strategies. • Culture & Engagement: • Lead enterprise-wide change initiatives with a focus on communication, transparency, and adoption. • Champion a culture of performance, inclusion, and continuous improvement that fosters engagement and accountability. • Drive initiatives that promote psychological safety, trust, and alignment with organizational values. • Talent Acquisition & Development: • Oversee end-to-end talent lifecycle management – attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. • Implement leadership development and succession planning framework that strengthen internal capability. • Create scalable programs that elevate career growth, feedback, and learning culture. • Performance Empowerment & Total Rewards: • Evolve performance management systems that recognize merit, drive accountability and support growth. • Ensure compensation and benefits remain competitive, equitable, and performance based. • Leverage data and analytics to inform pay equity, recognition, and retention strategies. • HR Operations & Compliance: • Lead the optimization of HR technology, systems, and processes to enhance scalability and efficiency. • Ensure full compliance with all employment laws, healthcare regulations, and corporate governance standards. • Continuously refine People Ops processes to align with organizational maturity and growth. • Leadership Coaching & Organizational Design: • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, guiding workforce planning, organizational design, and leadership effectiveness. • Coach executive and people managers in leading through change, communication, and team engagement. • Build and mentor a high-performing People Ops team that operates strategically and tactically in equal measure. Qualifications: • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or a similarly regulated industry. • Proven success in leading HR in a mid-sized organization (500–2,000+ employees), ideally within a subsidiary or matrixed environment. • Strong track record of building high-performing teams and driving cultural transformation. • Expertise in organizational development, talent strategy, and HR technology. • Exceptional communication, influence, and change management skills. • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
