RWE Biostatistician / Epidemiologist (Remote)

TechData is looking for Real World Evidence (RWE) Biostatisticians for our global Pharmaceutical clients. Responsibilities: • Conduct initial patient feasibility study and identify qualified patients using trials and RWD (Marketscan, Optum) • Create analytical databases • Assess real-world burden of disease, treatment patterns and unmet need • Conduct novel endpoint validation projects • Assess confounding factors associated with treatment outcomes, including: • Patient demographic information such as gender and age • Patient comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, etc. • Patient geographic location • Identify gaps for current treatment in immunological diseases Qualification: • PhD or MS in Statistics/Biostatistics, Epidemiology • Proficiency in R and SAS coding • First-author publications in clinical journals • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are a must. • Familiarity with observational databases desirable such as US medical and pharmacy claims databases (e.g. MarketScan), US medical record databases (e.g. GE Healthcare) TechData is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
