Position: Data / Business Intelligence Engineer - Remote / Telecommute Job Description Responsibilities: • Act as a Data/BI Power User and Data Consumer, working with business units to understand requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions. • Serve as a business–technology liaison, ensuring alignment between strategic business goals and data-driven deliverables. • Own, support, and deliver the full data lifecycle, including requirement gathering, data design, modeling, development, testing, deployment, and optimization. • Develop advanced SQL queries and design data models for both SQL and No SQL repositories. • Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards, reports, and analytics using Power BI and other BI tools such as Tableau and Alteryx. • Utilize data transformation and manipulation tools such as Python and Alteryx to streamline workflows and enhance analytical capabilities. • Work within Azure cloud environments, contributing to cloud-based data architecture, storage, and pipeline solutions. • Apply Data Ops practices, including CI/CD, automation, and monitoring of data pipelines. • Collaborate within Agile development environments, using tools like JIRA to plan and execute sprints and iterative releases. • Leverage understanding of machine learning and AI concepts to support advanced analytics initiatives. • Apply data engineering vocabulary and architectural principles to support scalable, secure, and reliable data systems. • Execute project planning and delivery using established project management methodologies. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Math, IT, Business, or equivalent work/educational experience. • Proven experience as a Data/BI power user with strong analytical, visualization, and data consumption skills. • Demonstrated ability to act as a business liaison, delivering both strategic and tactical solutions. • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including SQL/No SQL data modeling techniques. • Advanced experience with business intelligence and data client tools, including Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx. • Strong understanding of Cloud Computing, specifically Azure. • Familiarity with machine learning and AI technologies. • Experience with Data Ops, data engineering terminology, and modern data architecture. • Experience in Agile environments with tools such as JIRA. • Strong ability to plan, schedule, and implement projects following standard project management practices. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
