Technical Program Manager
Position: Business Systems Analyst/ TPMLocation: San Jose, CA - Remote, USA Required Skills and Qualifications
• TPM Skills: Proven ability to manage technical implementation teams, understand system architecture fundamentals, and drive decisions on technical trade-offs.
• BA Skills: Expert proficiency in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation (e.g., use cases, user stories, BRDs).
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence without direct authority.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or business analysis within a technical environment
• Advanced Artifact Authoring: The ability to drive alignment from the project team and stakeholders through robust Project Charters, BRDs, and As-Is/To-Be process maps, rather than just filling out templates.
• Lifecycle Ownership: Strong discipline in RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and Scope Governance to prevent creep.
• End-to-End Execution: Capability to drive the full lifecycle, including UAT, Go-Live planning, and hypercare not just the development phase.
JD:1. Advanced Artifact Authoring & Strategic Alignment (BA/TPM Skill)
• The successful candidate will demonstrate Advanced Artifact Authoring and the ability to drive strategic alignment, moving beyond template completion to truly synthesize and structure project requirements.
• Strategic Requirement Synthesis: Drive alignment from the project team and stakeholders through robust Project Charters, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and detailed As-Is/To-Be process maps.
• Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise business language, ensuring alignment across all organizational levels.
• Gap Analysis: Proactively identify and document gaps between current capabilities (As-Is) and desired future state (To-Be), proposing feasible solutions.
2. Lifecycle Ownership and Governance (TPM/BA Skill)
• Candidates must exhibit strong ownership and discipline in managing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring predictability and control.
• RAID Management: Maintain strong discipline in RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), proactively identifying potential blockers and developing mitigation strategies.
• Scope Governance: Implement rigorous Scope Governance processes to prevent scope creep, managing change requests formally while balancing business needs and technical feasibility.
• Dependency Resolution: Own the tracking and resolution of cross-functional and technical dependencies, serving as the primary point of escalation.
3. End-to-End Execution and Value Realization (TPM Skill)
• This role requires capability to drive the full end-to-end lifecycle, ensuring successful launch and adoption not just focusing on the development phase.
• UAT and Deployment: Coordinate and execute robust User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and comprehensive Go-Live planning.
• Post-Launch Ownership: Drive and manage the Hypercare phase post-launch, ensuring rapid stabilization and successful transition to long-term support.
• Metrics & Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and realized business value.
