People Operations Generalist, Total Rewards – HRIS
Job Description:
• Lead key People Operations programs spanning Total Rewards, HRIS management, and employee lifecycle support:**Total Rewards (Compensation, Benefits & LOA)**
• Lead market benchmarking, pay band creation, and annual merit cycle planning, data validation, and tooling.
• Partner with People Ops and Finance to align compensation decisions with budgets and internal equity.
• Support US and global benefits administration, including employee inquiries, carrier coordination, audits, and documentation.
• Serve as the primary administrator for all LOAs (US + global), ensuring compliant processes, accurate pay coordination with Payroll, and smooth pre/during/post-leave transitions.
• Maintain clear, consistent documentation and templates across all Total Rewards programs.**HR Systems & Automation (HRIS, Data, Reporting, Tooling)**
• Act as a systems expert across the HR tech stack and primary owner of HRIS (Rippling preferred).
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy, audit regularly, and ensure proper syncing with payroll and benefits.
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Build dashboards, reports, and visuals for data-driven insights and decision-making.
• Own LMS administration and drive accountability, adoption, and visibility of self-serve learning content across the organization.**Employee Lifecycle & Compliance (US + Global)**
• Support the full employee lifecycle from pre-hire to offboarding, ensuring accurate data, consistent processes, and high-quality employee experience.
• Partner across teams to document workflows, improve scalability, and close process gaps.
• Provide support for US compliance tasks (policies, audits, documentation) and serve as a backup for EU/UK payroll, benefits coordination, and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with brokers, EORs, and legal partners to ensure accuracy and compliance across jurisdictions.
Requirements:
• 5–8+ years in People Ops, HR Generalist roles or Total Rewards role.
• Strong experience in compensation operations (benchmarking, leveling, merit cycles).
• Hands-on LOA administration experience (Tilt preferred).
• HRIS expertise with proven ability to optimize systems (Rippling preferred).
• Experience supporting global teams; EU exposure strongly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and self-starting.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
