Medical Billing Specialist for Insurance Claims, AR Follow-Up & Denial Management - Contract to Hire
We are looking to hire an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to support our healthcare billing operations. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with insurance claims submission, payment posting, AR follow-up, and denial management.
Responsibilities include verifying patient insurance, submitting clean claims, following up with insurance companies, resolving denials, and ensuring timely reimbursements. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
• Strong communication and organizational skills
