Full-Service Startup Consultant Needed to Launch App + Company (Business + Operations + Strategy)
I have a completed MVP for a new subscription-based app, and I’m looking for an experienced Startup Consultant to help guide the early-stage business development, operational setup, and launch strategy.
I need someone who understands how to take an MVP and turn it into a real, functioning business with the right structure, systems, onboarding, pricing, and launch plan.
This role is for someone who can provide strategic direction and hands-on operational support.
Responsibilities
Business Formation & Infrastructure
Advise on the appropriate business structure (LLC, banking, EIN, compliance)
Assist with or oversee the setup of essential business infrastructure
Help establish financial systems, payment flows, and subscription billing
Early-Stage Business Development
Define and refine pricing, user journey, and monetization strategy
Build foundational operating procedures and business workflows
Help set up core tools (CRM, email systems, analytics, dashboards)
App Launch Strategy
Develop a clear, step-by-step launch plan
Create user acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies
Assist with positioning, messaging, and early marketing
Set up KPIs and tracking for the first 30–90 days post-launch
Product & Development Coordination
Review the MVP and identify gaps, improvements, or readiness issues
Coordinate with developers as needed for launch-related updates
Make sure subscription flow, UX, and onboarding are smooth
Ongoing Guidance
Provide practical, tactical support as we move from MVP → active users
Help avoid early-stage mistakes and build a scalable foundation
Act as an advisor/partner in the early stages of the company
Ideal Candidate
Has launched startups, SaaS products, or subscription-based apps
Strong experience in early-stage operations, business setup, and GTM
Understands pricing, onboarding, funnels, and growth strategies
Able to translate high-level goals into actionable steps
Comfortable coordinating with technical teams
Excellent communicator and proactive problem-solver
Project Scope
This is a part-time, ongoing role, beginning with business foundation and app launch, with potential to continue into growth/scale support.
