Enterprise Data Solutions Architect Contract – Remote (Eastern Time Hours Only) Pay: $65–$80/hour (DOE) Our client, a nationally recognized financial services organization, is seeking a hands-on Enterprise Data Solutions Architect to own data quality, reporting governance, and technical oversight for a growing Power BI environment. You’ll be the onshore anchor for report accuracy, defect triage, and BI best practices across 40+ enterprise reports. What You’ll Do • Validate data across multiple sources and investigate discrepancies • Review existing reports/datasets and deliver a 30-day assessment of risks and improvements • Govern and optimize Power BI workspaces, including permissions, models, and refresh logic • Write/interpret SQL and partner with offshore/IT teams on Azure Data Lake and BI pipelines • Lead a daily 9–11 AM ET overlap window with offshore resources and align work with business needs What You Bring • Strong hands-on Power BI experience, including workspace governance • SQL skills (intermediate–advanced) and understanding of Azure data environments • Working knowledge of DAX, Power Query, ETL/ELT, and BI architecture • Highly independent, proactive, and comfortable in ambiguous, fast-changing environments • Strong communicator who can challenge assumptions and translate business needs into data solutions Contract Details • 6-month contract with strong potential for extension or conversion • Workload expected to last 12+ months Fully remote, but must work Eastern Time Zone hours daily (mandatory) To apply, please submit a resume to cnyjobs@hiresapphire.com for immediate consideration.
